When I still had my Manfrotto 190, I used the Manfrotto shoulder strap which
I like a lot. However, I shortened the narrow end of the strap to 20cm long
just to fit one leg (the last section, opposite one) only. This way, I could
carry or spread the tripod without removing the strap ever. Now I have a
Gitzo 1349 which is too big to comfortably carry on my shoulder, so I just
carry it by hand.
