That's exactly what I've meant.

Yes, those split-image center circles can be a big help, but I prefer a  
full matt screen unless it is ultra-fine matt as actual screens are. The  
LX's SG-20 doesn't have a split-image circle but it is much more  
comfortable to use than the screen of my MZ-5n.
