I use dyndns.org on my Verizon DSL as well. I have the custom service actually. You can add all the A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, and SRV records you want for your domain and subdomains. You can add TXT records as well which means you can even put an SPF record in there unlike some other dynamic DNS services I have heard about. Unsure how common/uncommon that actually is though.
For the lazy among us there is even http://spftools.infinitepenguins.net/create.php to help you create an SPF record. Devon Holcombe
