Greetings Economists,
Wrong judgement of the period. The fact is that the times are getting cloudy about what can transpire. No one could predict in 1914 Russian Revolution. Nor can you safely say capitalism can survive a massive global crisis. Your prediction is no more tenable than Wallerstein's.

Further the political will is being formed to challenge you in a serious way. You can suddenly feel all around you this sentiment to radical change is now allowable. That all demand an end to the chaos of creative destruction and you will go along or else. Not that I threaten anything. I am saying the political will to change is forming and it will decide what to do and no amount of scholarly anticipation will do now. The time for choices or alternatives speculated about is closing down. The time to act is upon us and it will demand commitment.
thanks,
Doyle Saylor

A new mode of regulation. for sustaining the extended reproduction of Capital is one possible consequence. Obviously, there are others but I personally doubt we will see the end of the capitalism (as a political economy).
