He was also the one who finally admitted defeat and pulled 
out. I only hope Obie will do as much -- which is to say, I 
only hope he will have absolutely no choice. It seems quite 
clear that as long as he *does* have any choice, he'll keep 
the slaughter going. As Nixon no doubt would have as well.

Perhaps CB could replace General McChrystal. He seems to have a
