I suppose that makes me a "serious activist." I actually drafted a radical
policy proposal to that purpose, posted a teaser and a link to it to this
list and got no follow-up discussion that I can recall -- not even scoff at
it as "Utopian" or incoherent or whatever.

There's also some interesting research being done at the Autonomous
University of Barcelona that ties in well with my policy proposal, that is
if anybody here is interested.
