I am trying to load F-Spot. (I was installed when I installed Ubuntu)
It looks like it is loading, and a block appears in the task bar saying
"Starting F-Spot" but it disappears a few moments later!
If I do ps aux in terminal, the only reference to F-Spot is:
f-spot /usr/lib
How can I find out what is going wrong, or does someone already know?

At one of the groups some of us were expressingt interest in TomBoy Note
taker. I have discovered one called Baskets - http://basket.kde.org
Is very clever - but integrates itself into Kontact.

Some of you may recall my asking abnout uninstalling the KDE desktop.
Well I tried it, and it went OK, but I wanted Kontact, so I installed
Kontact, and it forced me to reinstall KDE Desktop!! So now I have a
load of Kxxx progs running! Any tips on which ones I can remove without
killing the system?
