Cathy- sounds like you have some good representation if you need it- I think I'd be contacting them and getting the ball rolling- this is a serious issue & your Docs NEED to take it seriously- Especially with the double vision problem you're having. I mean my gosh- even if it is 'just a cyst' they should at least be discussing ways to treat it to prevent problems with your sight. Have you written down ALL the symptoms you are experiencing? I mean everything like perhaps sweating, cold/hot, Dizzy, muddled thinking, loss of appatite etc? Maybe look up pituitary tumors on the web and get a list of symptoms & check off all the ones you might be experiencing, take it to the Doc, tell him about it & If he then says he doesn't still think it's a pituitary problem- tell him you are going above & beyond & if it is found out to be pit problem, then your lawyer will be in contact with him. I knowe military Docs enjoy a certain amount of immunity, but something like this is above even their protection I beleive. If he's getting stubborn & refusing you proper medical treatment, then I think you have a case, your lawyer friends would know better than me though- Hate to have to go that course- but your Doc is leaving you no choice really. |
