Hi all, I guess I am getting a bit desperate for all your experience and expertise....I have posted 3 times in various places today alone ![]() ! I am a bit confused as to the use of endoscopic transsphenoidal vs traditional transsphenoidal surgery. I was informed by my doctor that he does not use this technology, however I am seeing more and more surgeons doing so. I am aware this type of surgery is "blind", but obviously they have some imaging instrument during the procedure. Confused as to why this is not standard if it is so much better, or am I getting it wrong altogether? like the minimally invasive, no packing, but need some straight talk. I have a 2.0cm (a bit larger than average I have found out here) non-invasive (as per MRI) just sitting there wreaking all sorts of havoc tumor I sincerely appreciate all your help and guidance Minnie- you are from heaven, I know you have heard it before, but as a newcomer I wanted to say thank you so much M |
