Lo,
Wow, this is good information-especially for someone who is still looking for a doctor and procedure. My recovery was ok , but I think I like yours better  .  no stitches!?! I did not know that part- right now I have to say the only uncomfortable thing left is the darned stitches and the congestion/stuffiness (did you escape that too? maybe because there was less trauma, right?) especially when lying down. I went to the ENT today and he said it was all healing well (face it- I am a wimp I think) but I need to use my saline more (really dry here in AZ) and my stitches will dissolve more readily.
So all in all I am no worse for wear- but cannot wait to get weaned all the way off the Hydrocortizone - I am up all night on this stuff (note the time), but I guess they take you off it slow.
Lo- did you ever get your dr to take another look at the hydro levels for you? How you feeling?
