We have that "use libmspack" patch. The prerequisit for it is a patch "use proper %ld, %lz and so on" patch. A few months ago upstream complained that with the latter patch they get a segfault in their testsuite. I told them that it works fine over here and didn't hear anything since but it looks like they are trying. So if they enable LFS they would this fts() thingy as well.
