The problem lies in how you define or differentiate a newbie to an advance question. What seems elementary to most of the gurus of PLUG may be a very critical piece of information to be put to hold, waiting for somebody to escalate it to the proposed 'plug-advance' list. I doubt if we ever agree on what/which questions are basic or advance in the first place. To the person who posts his/her question on the list, the concern may be critical, needing immediate, appropriate advice, no matter how we see it (newbie, advance). I support Paolo's proposal for a unified list. _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
