I think that it is not right to flame or insult people who are less knowledgeable in linux. I know that we do have lists for newbies and so on but think of it this way.. who would be there to help these people if most of the advanced users, who would most likely be of much help, are on the other lists. Newbies then would remain newbies...I suggest that we all take the upper hand in helping as much people as possible either they are newbies or techies who just need help. Remember people that the reason why we have open source codes, programs and so on is that we believe that knowledge and information is for all. Everyone has a right to it and we intend to share it. Now we all know here that the Philippines is being taken into control by the "MAN" forcing a lot of people to just choose licensed softwares... rendering other people helpless... left without a choice. Now Linux opens a wide range of solutions specially to Filipinos. I say let the people ask! And in return let has grab their hands and pull them up!

For the Newbies be not afraid! For the Masters and Gurus... be one!

And remember we are all in the same boat!

me too. btw, i also like to troll back then ( or am i still? ).
it's how you look at it anyway. just think of it this way,

"you ain't that good, you can't even answer my simplest
question at the newbie's list...." :D

btw, there are plans to reward active mailing list members
(it's only 1 of the criteria) by sponsoring them to LPI
certifications, etc.
