The first hearing for the FOSS bill (House Bill #5769) will be on November 15, 2006, 9:30am at Rooms 7 & 8, Mitra Building inside the House of Representatives.
As it is a public hearing, everyone is invited to attend the meeting. The Committee on Information and Communications Technology of the House of Representatives has invited resource persons from different stakeholders. I was informed that more than 50 was invited, so I am not sure if every one of the invited guests will be given the time to share their views regarding the bill.
