How anyone who is familiar with FOSS can think that it is not about freedom is just amazing. It must involve an awful lot of denial and self-deception.

That FOSS is mostly all about freedom is obvious. Just look at the very first paragraph of the GPL, the Preamble:

   "The licenses for most software are designed to take away your
   freedom to share and change it.  By contrast, the GNU General
   Public License is intended to guarantee your freedom to share
   and change free software--to make sure the software is free for
   all its users."

FOSS ain't freedom? Man, that's hilarious!
