How about RFID? They can wear their RFID with picture on an ID necklace/strap, 
and everytime they pass near enough to your PC sensor, they are bundyed-in or 
bundyed-out.

Of course person A might give his ID to person B, so that even if he is absent, 
person A can bundy him in.  You can always implant under the skin a miniature 
RFID, if you can get your employees to agree to the minor operation of 
subcutaneous implant.  Parang sa movies.  He he he . . .
