Sun acquiring MySQL? There's no love lost here. Feature for feature, PostgreSQL is still better. MySQL is like that young, attractive, popular and outgoing girl in school, while PostgreSQL is that low profile, mature and homebody type; after matrimony, having hot sex with that young, attractive, popular and outgoing girl in school just can't fill your need for what that someone, who will deliver what you need when you need it, can constantly and reliably do (of course provided with your proper care and handling).
