Hey! what's with the gratuitious Perl dig?

I do not agree that Perl is an example of "worse is better." Perl
magnifies certain sloppy programming practices because... Perl was
designed for lazy, sloppy, and smart :) programmers.

I can't get over the amount of hand-holding Eclipse gives you for Java
code. All of this is possible because Java is well-defined, strict,
fixed in form, etc. All of which Perl are not.
