I bet the USB3 ports on the left will be fine, or even the special charging one. My thinkpad uses USB-C port for charging in both directions which is kind of funny. Your scanner apparently has the following modes Power Consumption - Power Off/Ready/Scanning/Sleep 0.1W / 4.5W / 9W / 1.6W Watt/Amp/Volt conversions are not my area of expertise but I suspect you will be fine. -Ben
