If you're going shopping, it's better to aim for fewest adapters. A USB3-A
to USB-C cable should not be too hard to find.

Additionally, I would recommend against relying on USB for power. The
device offers dedicated power input; I would suggest making use of it. This
will require sourcing an appropriate power supply, which in my view is a
worthwhile investment of one's time.
