Ben, Yes, the T-430 has 2 USB3 ports on the left and 2 USB2 ports, one of which is powered. Don't know -- yet -- which one that is.
The adapter you linked me should be fine. I have no idea who UGREEN is but you are looking on Amazon so brands don't matter anyway.
