try a cheapo 'firewall appliance'
in lieu of the server and two nic cards.. probably cheaper..
It will do the Network address translation (NAT/IP Masquerading)
and you can even apply filters for security.. ive seen some and one
has even 4-ethernet ports built in (yes it acts as a hub too! :)
