I'll say something about UP. I've always been at best an indifferent
student (still haven't finished all the odds and ends, even though I did
my thesis 4 years ago). And a really crappy subject called "Statics of
Rigid Bodies" almost did me in. I had to take it three times. And it's
almost completely irrelevant to electrical engineering at large!!
So yeah, you have to be either really good at math or struggle dumbly
(like I did) through thermodynamics and mechanics and crap like that. The
major courses by comparison weren't too tough, in spite of my lousy study
habits.
