i'm well aware of the bsd mailing list (i'm a subscriber there in fact).
what i mentioned earlier is to _sprinkle_ (i didn't say _pure_ bsd) the list
with bsd also so that newbies and heavy-duty linux users (oldies? :-) are
made aware of what they _might_ be missing should they concentrate on pure
linux stuff.
of course topics such as "OT: how do i create slices?" are pure bsd topics
but shouldn't be pruned (is this list moderated?) and replies should be
allowed up to a maximum of 1 or 2 only (for the benefit of those who thinks
that you can only do slices with bread). after that the poster can just
rtfm.
