Well 'FUD' slinging can only come from 'aggrieved' parties. Those that
have much to loose from products such as linux. Linux is the result of a
more than 10-year itch to make public an operating system that is 'free'
(as in free speech), and can be tweaked any which way by those using it.

The apparent FUD coming from the Linux camps is not FUD, but TRUTH,
because if Microsoft products were truly as good as their makers claim to
be, there would be no need for Linux today.

Linux people have no need to activley throw FUD at microsoft products
because they don't need to. The outstanding bugs of the microsoft
products themselves is enough.

But you are right, XP is getting much much better. Maybe it's about time
because believe it or not, people actually pay HARD EARNED MONEY for
purchasing the product and the user licenses attached to it. It would be
so much of a shame for XP to still come out as inferior to its open
source counterparts which are totally FREE, in every sense of the word.

This situation of payware being technologically inferior to open source
equivalents should STOP! But hey, is Microsoft capable of ensuring that
it actually happens?
