Which reminds me.. I've got a Twinhead PowerSlim
(beeaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuttiful!) and I've likewise gotten suspend/restore
working perfectly thanks to APM. I'll be switching to ACPI soon,
though. Anyway, Twinhead's BIOS suspend-to-disk makes use of a DOS tool
called HDPREPEZ to prepare the suspend-to-disk partition, but since I
zapped my DOS partition a long time ago and I can't be bothered to mess
up my partitions now... is there a way for me to get, say,
suspend-to-file working under Linux? Right now I leave it on
suspend-to-mem and it restores flawlessly even after a couple of days of
sleep. (Yes, yes, I wasn't paying attention, and laptops should be _off_).

Yeah, you guys should see us here... between the 120-day trial versions
of Windows 2000, the unopened Windows XP RC2 (RC2 ba? Lemme check),
and the free box of Windows XP Home Edition that Microsoft still owes us
for the contest we joined... we have way too much Windows.

I'm not sure if we've ever installed any of them, at that. <laugh>
