hmmm, is the Sony error, an INSTALL error? mine is. i can't even
get 8.2 installed since, while probing for PCMCIA while installing,
it hangs. hehe, and we've got the versions backwards too. 8.1
works for me. i've got it installed now. it's 8.2 that won't
install :). i've been itching to install Gentoo anyway. maybe
i'll just play with that for a while.
