hmmm, ok. i'll try to install 8.2 again and switch to the debug
console before it hangs (actually, after the last button push).
i didn't try switching to the debug console early. when i'd try
to do it, it would already have hung up.
thanks for the pointer. i should have thought of it. but since
i didn't, it's a good thing you brought it up :).
