Which is why for quick and dirty text editing, I have JOVE instead of
Emacs. For most purposes, it's small enough and Emacs-like enough to
handle my needs. Of course, if I need full Emacs-macro capability,
Emacs is there. But anyone who works on a variety of *N*X machines
-should- at least know how to use vi.
