OT reply ... try your knacks on assembly using AT&T syntax :)
C code w/ inline assembler is a bit more "natural" with that syntax
(especially with functions returning a value or passing parameters).

16-bit code using GNU AS on Win32 is another offtopic story (better off
with NASM for that).
