I can't tell exactly, but I think I may be in the minority here when I
state that I think you should let the poor recruiters join the list if
they want and let them sink or swim.  I say, if they can handle the
content of the list, and the inherent potential of scathing flames
when they violate the community's rules, then let them in.  By gosh
sakes, they might actually LEARN something about Linux if we're not
careful.

While I see all your reasoning for a separate list--in fact if the
recruiters will do nothing but "post jobs", yeah--push that somewhere
else. I just hope you don't kick all the recruiters out of this list,
as I know one in-particular who rather enjoys trying to keep up with
Nick Leippe's calculations on folder depth vs files/folder (my head
exploded) and has literally laughed out loud reading the banter on the
proper ediquette for staring a flame war, the personal jabs and jeers
between colleagues, and the value of red shirts to any organization.

...Just make sure the PURE plug list stays perfectly on-topic all the
time and make sure all that off-topic job crap gets shelled off in its
own recycle bin somewhere. #imjustsayin
