I'm running the linux version (MusicMixer_x86_1.5.1.tgz) which contains
an executable called MusicMagicServer and the api works without a
registration key.

I'm just using it for testing the MusicMagic integration in TrackStat
so I'm not using the standard slimserver MusicMagic integration. But
TrackStat is able to set/get information using the api so the api
definitely works without a registration key.
