Tried it last night with a timer while my SB was silent. Worked great. The only thing to note is that because I have my alarms set to fade in the volume, it made me miss the timer because I couldn't hear the alarm until it was several seconds past. I can't think of anything I'd use it for where being 20 seconds late would really matter, but it might be worth noting in the plug-in info for new users.
Songs aren't restarting when the timer runs out now either. I STILL have not been able to try it for a power nap!
