Thanks. Good point about the fading -- you've convinced me that I
should completely abandon the SqueezeCenter alarm API. Doing so will
allow KT to behave better, and possibly make it compatible with older
versions of SC7, too. 

I just posted pre12, which just adds the ability to tweak those
settings via the web interface.

Good luck finding time for the power nap. ;-)
