Did you notice you can extend the alarm after it goes off? So you could
start with an 8 minute timer, then extended it when you start the mac,
extend again when it's time to flip the fish, and so on.

Peter: I got to have my power nap today. KitchenTimer worked great.
Much faster than setting an alarm. Not quite as fast as setting an
AlarmNote on my PDA, but a much more pleasant wake-up experience.

I've been trying not to go too overboard with plug-ins but now you are
tempting me with Saverswitcher!
