If the default location of installed plugins are inside the Cache folder I think it's relevant to have the "reinstall previous plugins" functionality, if the InstalledPlugins folder is stored elsewhere by default I'm not sure we need any re-install functionality. The re-install should be a manual operation, all we need is help automatically checking the correct checkboxes. I don't think you need to take care of the case when people has manually removed plugins, in this situation it can still be marked as a previously installed plugin and let the user uncheck it if he doesn't want it. There is no reason for users to manually remove a plugin, it's a lot easier for them to just untick them in the Extension Downloader page. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=54805 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
