I still don't get why the plugins are installed into a cache folder, and treated as totally volatile items. Using the Firefox Extensions analogy, Firefox stores these in a different location to the cache. By default, the cache is C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\... and the downloaded extensions are in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Extensions\... When you go into Firefox Tools > Clear Private Data, there are many things that can be cleared, but not Extensions - you have to go into Extensions to uninstall them, as they have nothing to do with the cache. A similar setup for SqueezeCenter would seem very sensible, with the ability to change the default path to the plugins folder, which would be useful for development/testing. _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
