You're almost there! The <menuevent> is a special one used only if you
are entering the menu directly from the Extras menu, whereas you are
going through another menu first. All you need to do is copy your
<menuevent><actions> and put them into the "SqueezeIR" menu <item> so
it will look like this in your "SqueezeIR" menu definition:
