Is this reproducible? I know I have seen this once recently when experimenting with the "Preserve Connection" setting but then I had two copies of iPeng running at the same time and it was definitely in the background. Is iPeng running in the foreground when this happens for you? > > My other question is: have there been requests before for Volume + & - > buttons on the Now Playing screen, like in the Logitech Squeezebox > Controller? You are pretty alone with not wanting to see artwork to removing that is not an option. So adding buttons would mean making the volume slider smaller which would in turn make it harder and less accurate to use. So adding buttons would make the slider worse, it's difficult. Regarding the steps for the keys: I thought about accelerating them when used longer but the logic by which I have to determine the steps taken from the system volume change makes this very awkward. Maybe iOS 7.1 with the car interface will help here. Regarding options: Options are not an option. They sound like a great idea to not have to make decisions and then we all hate to take decisions, don't we? Because they always mean that you hurt someone. But the problem with options is that the options hurt EVERYONE because they make the whole App more complex. iPeng already has way too many of them right now and since the start of iPeng 7 I got no less than 14 different requests (15, with your one) to add new options to iPeng: show years with albums, do not show artist roles, do automatically switch dark/light skin (I am considering that one), do not show power buttons and so on and so on. If I included all options that I get asked for iPeng would have a 100-item list of configuration settings by now. So I have a simple rule: You want a new option? Unless I _really_ want that one myself, it either needs to be something that can be done directly in the UI (like setting the artwork scale or the window size in iPeng 7) or you have to tell me which other settings options I can get rid of instead so that they don't get more. Unfortunately, most of the current options in settings are for stuff that otherwise doesn't work at all for some people.... I'm always tempted to do away with the option to turn off group control and to turn off the "real PlayNext" but beyond that it's getting difficult. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 7, the Universal App for iOS 7* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
