I have two possible suspicions as to what's happening but my problem is that if you want a fix for the old iPeng within the next few months I need that fix completed by _today_ (Apple policies, sigh) so this is a bit urgent: 1. Which server version do you use? 2. What is the server-setting in "Settings->Player-><your iPod>->Audio->Power on resume" exactly set to 3. Which type of dock are you using. 4. As stated above: does it work correctly without a dock. The two suspicions are: 1. While I still can't reproduce this I'm seeing the player sometimes briefly disconnect and reconnect when in the background so I wonder whether this could make the server send a "resume" command 2. I know that I had included a workaround for a problem with lock-screen controls under iOS 7. The problem is that the lock screen controls send ambiguous (err... actually wrong) commands and therefore I now interpret "pause" as "toggle pause". Now, if your dock sends a "pause" command after a period of silence for some reason this could be interpreted by iPeng as "toggle pause" making it resume playback. #2 would put me into a conflict. I could fix it by returning to the old logic compromising compatibility with iOS 7 but then there is iPeng 7 now and I could leave that as it is especially since I know that the situation will probably improve for iPeng 7 with iOS 7.1. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 7, the Universal App for iOS 7* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
