But from what you write, I'd like to step a step back first: Do you _have_ any artwork in your files? iPeng will not look that up for you. LMS will, if you use the MusicArtistInformation plugin and at least LMS 7.8 but that, too, requires a full rescan, I believe. > > http://www.howtogeek.com/57237/how-to-get-complete-album-art-for-your-music-library/ > I think I saw an option to tell LMS where the album art work is stored, > but is iPeng so not support that option, then no need to put any effort > in to it. > iPeng doesn't need to support anything, iPeng gets the artwork from the server so anything making the server find the correct artwork will be fine for iPeng, too. > > To have the bitrate and resolution direct would be fine as mention in a > previous post. > In LMS under interface / title format, there is an option to put at > least bitrate. No, that's only for the old Squeezebox models (SB3, Boom, Transporter). These Squeezeboxes didn't create their own display output but everything was composed entirely by the server, this is what this settings is for. It doesn't apply to iPeng (or newer Squeezeboxes). I've been considering to somehow use it but I'm a bit afraid that this will break the expected behavior for a majority of users and I really hate to make changes that help a few percent of users while making the life more difficult for the majority. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 8, the Universal App for iOS 7 and iOS 8* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
