solution, I could plug a recording device into the headphone jack on my
iPhone, iPad etc. Heck, the sound recording software on my PC even has a
"What you hear" line-in option, so I could record from iPlayer in a web
browser.

The thing is I have never felt the need to record & keep radio programs
in the past, as I could always Listen Again using the 'BBC iPlayer'
plug-in. Thankfully using expectingtofly's excellent hack I still can,
having edited my "BBCXMLParser.pm" (in "C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application
Data\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\Plugins\BBCiPlayer" on my Windows
server - hope the location helps others).

BIG THANKS to expectingtofly :) Lets hope the clever & helpful folks on
this forum can help us navigate this streaming nightmare until
everything settles down.
