Agreed this is not a Max2play or Odroid problem. After all my Bravia TV
and my VBA also fail to work. Yes, I have a paid VPN service, it works
very well using OpenVPN client on my PC and iPad. The Router also
connects using OpenVPN just fine, and I can use my PC and iPad over VPN
running the VPN client on the router, not on the device itself. So in
most respects everything is just fine. It just does not work at all on
Max2play/Odroid, Bravia TV or VBA, and I do not have a clue why, or
whether there is anything I can do to get it going, or if I am wasting
my time trying.

The publicity about the router certainly gives the impression that all
devices on the network that connect to the Internet will work over VPN
once a connection has been set up - but not so - yet!
