No port forwarding should be necessary.

Do some tests as follows
Bring up the VPN
On a PC that "works" do a tracert to check that traffic is going down
the tunnel. Compare the route to the same tracert without the VPN up.
Assuming that the PCs are using the tunnel what DNS servers are they
using when the tunnel is up?

Look at the DNS on the Odroid etc. Is it set to use the router? If so it
is a relay to your ISPs DNS servers. Those may very well not work down
the tunnel. Try Google's public DNS servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4.

I had this problem with a VPN from France to UK.

Having checked all this also look carefully at the router's VPN setup.
Is there an option to "route ALL traffic via VPN" it should be On if
there is.
