"Julia," he finally managed to say, his voice slightly hoarse.

Julia looked at him in confusion.  He was obviously upset but about what? She started to stand and used his hands to balance herself before swaying a little and catching her footing "Whoa there."  Then she looked back at Derek and the look in his eyes, frowning a little.

"Can we go inside?" she asked after a moment, indicating the clothes that were hanging with wet weight on her frame "I could really use a change of clothes and some of Nick's gun power explodable coffee about now."

She slightly shook her head, raven tendrils barely moving they were so wet against her temples and forehead from the storm  "I be I can even talk Nick out of that giant sweatshirt."

Nick.  She had been walking with Derek toward the house but she stopped and frowned, wondering why she had a sudden pull, a feeling in her gut, as she thought about the former Seal... "Where's Nick.. is he here?"

****two beings watch Nick Boyle, their voices unheard****

"So this is the one that has my Karen wanting to return..." a female soft grating voice purred thoughtfully, watching the young man smiling at a joke told him.

"And I want Rachel."  the male voice with it growled low.

"You want your unholy spawn born," the first demon corrected him "And then you want Rachel.  Both don't have to necessarily be the same."

Shamus hadn't thought of that but it sounded good.. very good actually... "When do I get -"

"When I get him." was all it/she said before they faded back into their realm

Julia walked out of Nick's room, having borrowed that sweat shirt and digging out one of her spare pants she had tucked back in a bottom drawer for those times, like now, that she just wasn't in the mood to walk to her own room for.  She was in the process of tying her long hair back when she stopped at the foot of the stairs and looked around, her clear blue eyes taking in everything.

Things were different.  Not the kind of moving things around for a new look different but... things had been built in or replaced different... things that would have taken a guy weeks/months to do.

She sat down on the first step and tried to let her thoughts trail... to try and remember or even figure out what was so wrong with her surroundings.  What was the last thing she remembered....?

"It's Ireland Nick.. there's a pub everywhere..." she softly whispered the words, even pictured his dry expression as she had left him to unpack the trunk and check them all in, how she had made a mental note to buy him a cold one when she got back....

And then... and then nothing.  She frowned at that, her blue eyes clouding and smooth brow furrowing gently in her confusion.  What the hell had happened...?

Her head turned in the direction of her room, not far, just a couple of more doors down from Nick, and slowly she stood.  She had a feeling.....

Right before she put her hand on the handle to open it, Derek spoke from behind her "Find everything you needed?"

She turned and nodded, wrapping her arms about her against a chill that had nothing to do with the room temperature.

"Derek..." she asked quietly, finally lifting her gaze up to look at his and searching for the answer there "What.... what's today's date?"

Derek opened her mouth when sounds came from downstairs.  With a blink of his eyes he turned and debated whether to just tell her or to put it off until Nick and the others could be here to act as a kind of support.
