(Oh! Rachel drove up and Derek introduced them, but I think I forgot to
change the subject line! grrrr. I'll find it and put it up again, as they
are going inside would be a good time for that actually. Then Julia and
Nick can head off upstairs if that's all right, I think Zandra and frances
went indoor awhile ago.)
Derek had stepped back a bit to give them some semblance of privacy, but he
was not going to leave them out there alone. Not with the things that had
been going on and not in the mental state they both seemed to be in. At
least Nick wasn't screaming, which he supposed was a good sign. He followed
them back to the house and heading off in a different direction once he got
inside. He decided it was best to try and give the others some warning. He
found Alex and Kat upstairs and asked them both to go down to the kitchen,
where Frances and Zandra were already. Now, if Philip would just come home.
