I looked at Ria and sighed, "I'm sure you'll be able to run with her another
time." I knew this was hard on Kat, the endless changes of venue...all over
again the doubt returned, what kind of a mother put her child through all
this? How could I constantly put her in danger, perhaps Derek was right...I
didn't protect her the way I should. But it was this place that drew us into
trouble, "sorry Kat, but I want to get home as soon as possible, so let's
move it."
