"Do this to yourself again and I just might," Derek told her. She was hot,
too hot. Derek stood and went ot the bathroom searching until he found some
aspirin. He returned with a glass of water and a few of the small pills.
He slid an arm behind her to suport her and held the glass as he got her to
take the pills. Whether they would help or not, he had no clue. He wasn't
exactly dealing with a normal sick person. But he had to do something, he
couldn't just sit there and watch her burn up. Then he sat back down beside
her stroking her hair gently. He thought about Kat and what was going on
with her. He didn't like it and the little girl's reluctance to agree to
such simple requests worried him more. Julia's, "health" was a new concern
to add to the many. And what about Mr. Lyons and that painting? What was
going on there. Perhaps, Rachel was right. Maybe it wasn't so innocent.
And then there was Milo and computer hackers? His mind was reeling as he
tried to puzzle out all these new mysteries. Where was Ria? He realized he
hadn't seen or that Lyon's character for a while.
