Surprise wasn't exactly the word, shock would have been a much better
description. They might actually arrive in one piece, how extraordinary.
He chuckled at her comment about Milo. "He probably still more than she
bargained for, without being a murderer. How much did this pair see that
they SHOULD NOT have seen?"
Derek rested his arm on the passenger door arm rest and gazed at Julia
thoughtfully. "Special how," he inquired about Milo's daughter.
