Derek put eh carafe in front of her and glanced at the web site the hackers
had used. "Charming," he commented. "Milo arrived here last night, but I
didn't get a chance to discuss this with him. He is otherwise occupied this
morning." To tell the truth, Derek had been surprised that Milo was up and
gone already. Promptness was not one of his friends better qualities,
particularly after he'd been drinking. "I thought you'd taken care of all
that already," he said about the clothes. "Why not try catalog shopping, I
hear it's all the rage and they deliver."

Julia poured herself some more coffee and went back thoughtfully to the
computer and started typing, one handed, and looked back up at Derek,
grinning gamely "Because I'm also going to pay our friends a visit.
Wouldn't you like to meet the pair that was able to go through your system
like butter?"
"I mean aside from Miss Takachi here and you're in the system now by the
way.. no need to go around it anymore, even if it's blocked now." The woman
did know her way around a security check, that's for sure. Julia had found
the breech and had put up a guard against it "Maybe later you can break in
some more so I can reinforce everything.
"After all," she grinned and drank from the mug again "The saying goes, best
security person to have around is a top notch thief."
And it was obvious that in the field of security breaches, Lani knew what
she was doing.
Julia turned back to Derek "I'll catalog shop for the major stuff but I'd
like to get out. Two outfits and a trip by Miss Morgan's and I'll check in
periodically. She had a feeling he had suggested the catalog because he
wanted to keep an eye out for her but she was starting to get cabin fever.
And no, she hadn't taken care of the clothing situation. She had a jogging
suit and the pajamas she was wearing now.
"And if you don't want me driving your Rover," she added casually, since it
was the only other vehicle not being used at the moment "I could take the
motorcycle...."
